Pregnancy Yoga
.Kundalini yoga for pregnancy is a holistic yoga focusing on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual elements to assist women during birth and pregnancy.

I have carefully selected yoga postures that enhance flexibility and tone key muscles that will support you in pregnancy and during the birth. The exercises are designed to release tension in the spine and body and expand your lungs. The postures are targeted to build the strength and stamina you will need for the birth and beyond.

Emotionally, the yoga classes provide a supportive community of women who are experiencing similar things to you, and I act as a guide on your journey towards greater belief in your power as a woman. Exercises within the yoga class are targeted at building the mental endurance required for the birth. Meditations that are taught are specifically targeted to aid with pain management. The yoga class provides a quiet space for your soul: shifting your awareness away from your active mind and towards a deep, quiet place within you. It also offers you the time and skills needed to assist you to focus and connect with your baby.

Conscious Birth’s yoga for pregnancy is designed to assist with anxious thoughts around the labour and birth. Regardless of whether you want to have a natural birth or not, these classes assist you in working through your fears, accessing your hidden strengths and leading you away from feelings of powerlessness to a belief in your power as a woman. These classes take you on a journey to expand your awareness, increase your strength, and towards an understanding that your mind, with its overwhelming fears, can be conquered.



Theoni's pregnancy yoga classes were the best thing I could have done during my pregnancy! It was fun, informative and encouraging, making my pregnancy & how I felt about myself during that time a great experience. Not only did I learn so much, but it gave me the strength and tools to help me through labour and the birth. The classes are a great place to make new friends and interact with other women who are also pregnant - I learnt more from this class than I did from my antenatal class.
