Natural, home birthing is a wondrous process, made all the more special with a doula. It’s a labour of love, really, for all concerned. Theoni was present, calming and so responsive that she usually anticipated solutions to needs we’d not yet voiced – while still honouring our process. She’s clearly experienced, solid and reliable to the nth degree, but there’s something much more special even – she was connecting on a soul level. I miss her presence even now, 18 months later.
